Capabilities

What Claude can do

Read

  • Server info for the MaxOutDeals guild
  • List allowlisted text / announcement / forum channels
  • Read recent messages from allowed channels
  • Open forum posts when the parent forum is allowlisted

Write (gated)

  • Send messages only to DISCORD_WRITABLE_CHANNEL_IDS
  • Empty writable list = send disabled (fail closed)
  • No delete / moderation tools in Phase 1

Security

  • Same BuyINT Admin / Super Admin OAuth as Ops MCP
  • Bot token stays on the server
  • Hard-locked to guild 867926897626075158

Setup tips

  • Invite the bot with message read permissions
  • Fill channel allowlists in Render env
  • Leave writable empty until send is intentional
Get connected

Add the Discord connector

In Claude: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → sign in with BuyINT Admin.

  1. Copy the Discord MCP URL
  2. Add it as a custom connector in Claude
  3. Authenticate with Admin / Super Admin + OTP
  4. Ask: “What are the latest messages in channel …?”
